Do you need to visit before quoting?
Usually not. For driveways, patios, fences and pool surrounds, a couple of photos and a rough size are enough. We do a quick site check for house washes and all commercial work before confirming a final price.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get to the work area and there's an outdoor tap. Most of our customers are at work and come home to a finished job.
Do you use my water and power?
We use your outdoor tap, which is confirmed when you get your quote so there are no surprises. Our machines run on petrol, so we don't need your power. If there's no accessible tap, tell us and we'll quote a tank-supply option.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Move cars, furniture, pot plants and anything loose off the area, close nearby windows and doors, and keep pets inside. That's it.
Will high pressure damage my surfaces?
It can, which is why we don't use it on everything. Timber, render, cladding and painted surfaces are soft washed at low pressure with chemistry doing the work. If we think a surface is too fragile or already damaged, we tell you before we start rather than after.
What if something is already damaged?
We check the area before we start and note anything already there, such as cracks, lifting paint, loose mortar or chipped tiles. If we spot something likely to worsen during cleaning, we'll show you and get your go-ahead or leave that area alone.
What happens if it rains?
We'll contact you and move the booking to the next available slot at no charge. Light rain usually isn't a problem. Heavy rain, storms or high wind are.
How long does it last?
In this climate most hard surfaces stay clean for roughly twelve months, less in heavy shade or under trees. Sealing a driveway extends it considerably.
When and how do I pay?
On completion, on the day, by bank transfer or card. No deposit for standard residential jobs. Commercial and strata invoices are due within 7 days.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
Tell us within 48 hours and we'll come back and re-do the area at no charge. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply and are never limited by anything on this page.
